Keith
and Barbara Sowerby established
their business in 1974 in Swindon before
moving to the picturesque village of
Aldbourne, Wiltshire in 1979.
On leaving secondary school in 1989
their son Stephen joined them. Stephen
completed his City and Guilds Exams
in Cabinet Making and Furniture restoration
in 1993 at the Manchester School of
Furniture. Types of

Cabinet making. Chair making,
especially copies of incomplete sets.
Traditional and modern polishing.
Cane weaving (chair seats and backs-Bergere
suites etc). Rush seating. Leaded
door panels. Woodturning. Upholstery.
Our Workshop is the only surviving
a WWII Nissen hut which was
used by The troops of Easy Company
506th PIR " The
Band of Brothers"
made famous in the Speilberg, Hanks
TV mini series.
